For dog lovers there are designated paths around the countryside of Park Hall as well as some great local dog walks including an all year Welcome Dog Beach close by too. Two golf courses within 10 minutes of Park Hall will satisfy all golfers and if you are looking for something more relaxing you can always recharge your batteries with a relaxing Spa Treatment or why not relax in the beautiful gardens of Park Hall or take a quiet stroll along one of the many East Coast beaches only a few minutes away.

Clay Pigeon Shooting Centre

Park Hall is home to the renowned and popular clay-pigeon shooting school with an extensive range of layouts including English Skeet and Compact Sporting.
Even if you have never tried the sport before you can experience clay-pigeon shooting with tuition from professional coaches with a high standard of shooting and communication abilities.

Park Hall also specialises in creating perfect fun events for celebrations, stag & hen parties, corporate events and family & friend’s memorable celebrations.

The club house is open every day except Sundays from 10am until dusk.

Coarse fishing lake

Well-Stocked Private Carp Lake

Combine your stay at Park Hall with excellent coarse fishing on a well-stocked lake only a short walk away from your accommodation.

This private lake is owned by Park Hall and is exclusive to members. While you stay at Park Hall membership is complimentary.
The three acres of stunning lake is home to some excellent sized Carp of 25lbs and over, 7lb plus Tench, good size Roach, Perch, Rudd and Bream. All guests must have a valid fishing rod licence and their own tackle including carp landing nets and unhooking mats.

The lake is open 7 days a week.

Slightly further afield but within easy reach a further seven award winning beaches await you, some with piers, some with family fun fairs and some perfect for a peaceful walk along the seashore.

Garden, Farm, Marsh & Coastal Birds

Park Hall is a paradise for birdwatchers where a wide variety of garden, farm, marsh, and sea birds can be seen. Being located near to the coast but also being in the middle of the countryside has great advantages when bird watching.

In the beautiful gardens can be seen many species including the Greater Spotted Woodpecker and out in the fields Red Tailed Kite and Brown Buzzards soar the skies.

The eves to Park Hall are home to many House Martins that return every year where they can be seen busy repairing and rebuilding their many nests, twenty four at the last count!

Essex Wildlife Trust

Howland’s Marsh & Colne Point

A few minutes from Park Hall the Essex Wildlife Trust’s Howlands Marsh and Colne Point Reserves can be found.

This 74 acre Howland’s Marsh reserve is one of the best surviving coastal grazing marshes in Essex, consisting mainly of low lying hummocky grassland, split up by dykes and fleets. This exceptional reserve has two observation hides offering views of the waders and wildfowl on the reserve.
On the fresh water marshes hundreds of duck especially Wigeon and Teal can be seen. During the summer months Marsh Harriers and Barn Owls may be spotted. Occasionally Merlin, Hen Harrier and Short-eared Owls can be seen.
